Mike Isenberg is a two-time Emmy Award-winning coordinating producer at Fox Sports Detroit. Two thousand nine celebrates Mike’s 20th year in broadcasting. He began as a television sportscaster in Elmira, New York, where he spent 6 ½ years covering sports and news.

In 1996, Mike came to work at ESPN, where in 10 years he worked his way up from production assistant to producer. He worked on several different projects, including Sportscenter and NFL Monday Countdown.

In his role as coordinating producer, Mike oversees pregame shows for the network’s three professional teams (Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons), and approves all feature scripts as well.  He has earned Emmy Awards in both 2008 and 2009.

Mike is recognized as an outstanding public speaker. His down-to-earth conversational manner puts his audiences at ease and encourages participation. He also regularly works with on-air talent, striving to improve their performance and storytelling ability.

While his family lives in Michigan, Mike is never far from his Boston roots. He grew up in Sudbury, MA, before playing basketball at Emerson College. He lives in West Bloomfield, Michigan, with his wife, Elizabeth, and children, Zachary and Alexandra.
